Our local iwagaki oysters, which are in season from spring to summer(June to August), are rich in flavor, smooth touch in your mouth and called "shoe oysters " by the locals because of their distinctive size. The annual iwagaki oyster campaign is held during the season. You can enjoy the delicious charcoal grilled oysters, steamed oysters and a variety of other dishes at many local restaurants.
